Create a New Employee (Basic)

This guide assumes you have already set up your HQ from this guide here.


Navigate to the Employees Table in the HR Management App. On the top right click + New Employee

The employee has some basic information that must be filled in for Sightline to function properly on the Employee & Pay tabs:

Employee Tab:

  • HQ Name
  • Related Time Zone
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Employee Status
  • Start Date

Pay Tab:

  • Desired Currency
  • Full Time Hours
  • Shift

We have provided basic employee information fields that you can fill in for each employee to collect and gather more information such as uploading photos and including their job titles, uploading files associated to their contract agreement such as 1099 or W-2, etc.
